Amogy is a sustainable energy startup, working on a novel carbon-free energy system using ammonia as a renewable fuel. Starting first with a drone, they moved into the agricultural market with the world’s first ammonia-powered tractor, which I photographed at their lab on Long Island as well as on a partner farm upstate in Ithaca, NY. With major investments from large companies looking to transform their transportation fleets, there is vast potential for this technolgy in the push towards a future less dependent on fossil fuels.
